Wind Instruments

Markus Pechmann is a versatile musician with wide-ranging artistic activities, his musical education spans from 1996 to 2008, from a basic education at the Conservatory Graz with Prof. Franz Mandl to classical trumpet studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz under Prof. Uwe Koller. From 2009 he dedicated himself to the jazz trumpet at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität with Jorg Engels.

His further artistic career is characterized by diverse engagements. He played in classical ensembles such as the Graz Opera House and the Junge Philharmonie Wien, at the same time enriching the brass music scene as a member of the Austrian Brass Band and the Brass Band of the Musikhochschule Essen. He was also involved in various Musical productions of the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien.
In the jazz and band field, Markus Pechmann has served an impressive range of styles and genres with various formations, including "Yasmo & die Klangkantine" and "Gewürztraminer & der Gemischte Satz", as well as in jazz orchestras such as the "KUG Jazzorchestra" and the "MUK.Wien.Jazzorchestra".
