Dominik Fischer received his first violin lessons at the Music School Scheibbs, since fall 2016 he is a student at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Prof. Gerald Schubert and Univ.Prof. Jan Pospichal. In addition, he attended numerous master classes, including David Frühwirth, Andreas Janke and Gottfried von der Goltz.

Regular concert activity with various orchestras and ensembles takes him to the most important concert halls in Austria and Europe, including as concertmaster of the orchestra of the Angelika Prokopp Summer Academy of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Dominik is intensively engaged in the historical performance practice of the music of the 17th and 18th centuries, for which he receives lessons from Hiro Kurosaki (baroque violin) and Stefan Gottfried (historical performance practice). He is a founding member of the ensemble L'Aimable, which specializes in French Baroque music. Dominik is also active as an instrumental teacher in Lower Austria.
