Instrumentation

Chamber Orchestra

The configuration of a Chamber Orchestra determined by the programme requested. Depending on the material, this means a group of between 20 and 30 musicians. Our repertoire focuses on works of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. During this period composers often expanded the traditional orchestra by adding keyboard instruments (celesta, piano, harmonium), the harp or emerging jazz instruments like saxophone, banjo, guitar…  We would also be happy to play the entire repertoire of Viennese music and operetta in this line-up.
